What is the difference between the Production and Beta versions of the terminal?
Bug fixes and new features are first uploaded to Beta, tested, corrected, and then uploaded to the Production version.
Where can I find the logs and database files?
The logs and database files can be found at C:/Users/Username/Appdata/Roaming/Metascalp (or the final folder Metascalp-Dev, if you are using the Dev version).
If you cannot find this folder, you need to enable the display of hidden folders.
The coin was listed on the exchange, but it is not in the list.
Open the ticker selection window for the necessary exchange and click the ‘Refresh’ button.
The terminal does not have the ‘...USDT’ coin.
If the coin does not appear in the list after clicking the ‘Refresh’ button, it means that the exchange does not currently provide access to this ticker via API, or has prohibited trading and viewing of this instrument via API. The Metascalp team does not know when a particular coin will be available, so we recommend following the announcements on the exchange's website.
Ping suddenly increased, what should I do?
In most cases, ping does not depend on the terminal. As a rule, problems arise on the side of the Internet provider or exchange. However, if you believe that the problem is indeed related to the terminal, please contact our technical support in Telegram @helpmetabot.
I have Mac\Linux\Ubuntu. Is there a version for this OS?
Currently, Metascalp only works on the Microsoft Windows operating system.
Is it possible to use the same API for the spot and futures markets?
Yes, it is possible. In this case, when creating the API keys, permissions must be granted for both platforms.
The terminal does not connect via proxy, but works without proxy.
Check the connection via another proxy server.
Add the Shadow Socks proxy client to the exceptions in your antivirus, firewall, and ad blockers.
The order book does not display orders further than 2% (or 20%) from the spread. Why?
The orderbook depth limit is determined by the exchange and may change at any time so this issue does not depend on the terminal. Besides Binance exchange, you can manually limit the depth in the orderbook settings to save your hard resources.
The X coin glass does not open, but it is in the ticker list.
This ticker has been removed from the exchange (delisted), but the exchange continues to send some data via API, so the coin may remain in the list, but it is not available for trading.
How to completely remove the terminal from your PC?
To completely remove Metascalp, you need to uninstall the terminal using the standard Windows uninstall procedure and also delete these two folders:
C/Users/Username/Appdata/Roaming/Metascalp (or Metascalp-Dev if you are using the Development version)
C/Users/Username/Appdata/Local/Metascalp (or Metascalp-Dev, if you are using the Development version)
How to roll back the terminal to the previous version?
You can change the terminal version in the General Settings section.
Can Metascalp be connected to the MT5 or Interactive Brokers?
No, it cannot. The terminal only works with cryptocurrency exchanges.
